He attended the School of Arts and Crafts (Llotja) in Barcelona. (1990-1995)

Early in his career was greatly influenced by the comic strip artists, some of the relevance of Mike Mignola, Bill Sienkiewicz and Frank Miller

but as they progressed in both aesthetic and conceptual knowledge was impressed by the work of Vicente Segrelles, painter and illustrator of nature bordering on surrealism fantastic full of unusual findings, very famous in his time.

Blanchart gradually moves away from the influence first-time, directing his most personal works by drawing paths on the theme of the film called black, with striking angles wise linear and chiaroscuro effects that will serve for the title of the series.

Always on, it starts at the Espai of Photography "Francesc Català Roca, where he met more great photographers Robert Capa and Henri Cartier-Bresson, which drives him to further the prospects atrevidísimas technology and always difficult assembly of lights and shadows.

Looking ahead, Blanchart devoted his labors to experience in other areas more involved artistically. Interested in particular, Abstract art by choosing as a starting point the works of the last season of the English painter Turner, the great landscape-seascape that both influence with its masses of air to the outbreak dazzling brilliance of color in all its purity and intensity, which pioneered the non-figurative art.

Among his favorites of the last batches, is Jackson Pollock, which attracts him greatly for his brutal pictorial manifestations of intoxication bordering on the pathological.

The years 1990 to 1998, has exhibitions in schools as "Francesc Català Roca, Golferics room in the Library of Nou Barris in January 2008, and in the room" Stuff ", all located in Barcelona, the latter individual, with the title "Almost Abstract" in April 2008.
